Founder, Content Consultant and Strategist

Tom Davis is the founder of Black Sheep Communications and a content consultant with over 15 years of experience. A Plain English advocate and award-winning journalist, Tom specialises in simplifying complex communication for commercial value. His career spans government websites like nt.gov.au and securent.nt.gov.au and qld.gov.au, improving accessibility and customer experience. As a member of the Plain Language Association International, Tom works across industries, using Plain English and AI to create content that aligns with users’ search behaviours. His clients include Rio Tinto, Uber for Business, CleanCo, and DocuSign, helping executives communicate clearly during major change projects.
Ray Edusei
Chief Marketing Officer

Ray is an experienced Chief Marketing Officer with over 20 years in creative design and brand strategy. He’s led global marketing teams in tech and consumer goods, delivering award-winning campaigns for brands like Vodafone, Nestlé, and Google. His five years at Ogilvy in Africa saw him driving strategic success. Ray’s work with The Good Literary Agency, championing marginalised voices, reflects his commitment to inclusive design. He also advises tech startups and creators in the UK, Ghana, and Singapore, using his creative approach to deliver meaningful impact across industries.

Adam Boucher
Head of Digital Marketing and Strategy
Adam Boucher is a marketing and digital leader with 14+ years of experience, including seven years in head of digital roles. He has worked with well-known brands like Ingenia Communities, Tourism NT, Manheim Australia, and the NT Government. Adam specialises in large-scale digital projects and customer experience (CX) transformations. His leadership blends collaboration with strategic thinking, delivering solutions that meet customer needs. Adam owns Turtle Strength and consults on generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) projects and e-commerce, deploying AI at scale across thousands of users to drive innovation.

Robert Turner
Professional Communications Specialist
Robert Turner has over 15 years of experience working with organisations like the City of Melbourne, NT Government, and the Department of Education. He’s skilled in making complex problems simple, whether helping doctors prescribe life-saving drugs or making it easier for workers to get construction permits in Melbourne. Robert has also explained complex disability payment schemes and led communication projects in education. In addition to his public service, he teaches professional communication at the University of Western Australia, combining hands-on expertise with academic knowledge.
Tim Case
Service Designer

With over a decade of experience in the digital and design industry, Tim Case is a creative and passionate service designer. His work at VicRoads and the City of Boroondara has focused on building in-house service design capabilities and leading agile projects. Tim’s background includes experience at RACV as a Digital User Experience Specialist and co-hosting the Innovators Network in Melbourne. His passion lies in guiding organisations to exceed customer expectations through human-centred design, ensuring each project delivers meaningful, customer-focused results.
Rob Lovegrove
Digital and Data Strategist

Rob is a prominent digital and data-led communication strategist with more than 24 years of experience in international marketing, communication, and advertising. He has held leadership roles within agencies and boards, including at Rowland, Queensland’s largest strategic communication agency, where he had board-level responsibilities. Rob has worked with household names like McDonald’s, Brisbane Airport, and Vodafone, and led Rowland’s Data Insights and Intelligence Division. He co-authored an academic paper on AI influencers and lectures at the University of Queensland. Rob excels at integrating traditional media with digital solutions to drive data-led strategies.
Karly Wegner
Marketing Operations Specialist

Karly Wegner is a marketing operations specialist with over 10 years of experience in managing marketing campaigns. Her skills include administering marketing automation tools, ensuring database accuracy, and reporting on campaign performance. With a background in website design, Karly blends her technical and creative expertise to deliver functional, user-friendly websites. She has successfully launched a variety of websites that consistently meet her clients - and business - needs, helping them attract their ideal customers and showcase their value in a competitive digital landscape.

Jordan Collins is a hardworking and adaptable communications professional with a strong independent work ethic and excellent teamwork skills. He is experienced in marketing communications strategy, marketing funnel optimisation, campaign management and public relations across diverse industries. Jordan has practical exposure with global brands including PepsiCo, Airbnb, Ballymaloe Foods and LVMH through an extensive masters study program and case study projects.
